He trained and is qualified in the Iyengar Yoga Tradition (1996)

DESCRIPTION OF JUDY VAN DOPS ADULT EDUCATION CLASSES AT THE YOGA STUDIO

Monday 9.30-11-00 Beginners level 1

This course is for those with little or no experience of yoga,but is equally suitable for students who like to continue at this level of practice.Basic poses are taught and these provide a foundation for improving ones health and one ability to relax.

Monday 11-15-12-15 Foundation

This is a course of gentle stretches for shoulders,backs ,hips and knees.It is also suitable for post operative recovery.Numbers are restricted so that each student can receive individual attention.

Monday 13.00-15.00 General level

General level all terms are ten weeks .This is a general level yoga class which is suitable for all abilities including beginners.The posture are taught with care and attention to good practice,thus making it possible for all students to achieve their full potential.Simple breathing techniques will be introduced and practiced.Wear clothes that will stretch and bring along a yoga mat if you have one.

Tuesday 13.00-15.00  Beginners level 2

Suitable for beginners and continuing yoga students.A slightly longer class means that the syllabus can be extended and relaxation techniques refined

Thursday 9.30-11.00  Yoga for back care and low back pain.

This will be suitable for a small group so that a programme can be tailored to the individual.The yoga studio has equipment that will be used throughout the course to facilitate healthy movement.

Friday 13.00.15.00 yoga general/intermediate

For yoga students who are familiar with yoga postures wishing to build on their existing skills and extend their knowledge.
